Our client is a true leader in NZ and is currently seeking to employ a proactive sales achiever to join their very successful team. They have established a strong and dynamic presence within the industry.

As Business Development manager, you will be responsible for winning new business and growing the customer base. You will be part of the sales team contributing to the growth and the revenue base. Your core focus will be to generate new business with clients across the Auckland region and building successful ongoing relationships.

Responsibilities of the Role:

Qualifying leads, pitching and presenting to clients

Grow strategic major accounts

Develop strong, multi-level relationships with customers within your nominated portfolio

Foster professional relationships with key decision makers

Revenue growth 

Sales Reporting

To be successful in the position, you will have:

Proven Sales achievements as a BDM 
Come from Digital media, Google AdWords, SEO background

Demonstrated success in winning new business

Understanding of costing principles and costing models as they relate to transport

Knowledge of management and customer information systems

Excellent written and verbal communication/negotiation skills

Strong commercial acumen

A competitive salary package consisting of base salary, plus a highly competitive commission structure is on offer for the right candidate.
