Our client, a non-for-profit Christian organization is now looking for a person with Customer service/ Reception and basic marketing/ event skills. This is a newly created role to assist the rest of the team. Customer service / Reception/ Marketing role:

Our client, a non-for-profit Christian organization is now looking for a person with Customer service/ Reception and basic marketing/ event skills.

This is a newly created role to assist the rest of the team. They offer a good supportive, “family” team environment and the opportunity to bring your skills and also grow into other areas of the business.

 

Reception/ Customer service (face to face and phone based)

  • Greeting and assisting visitors

  • Answering all incoming calls through our mainline

  • Answering telephone / email enquiries and referrals on the products and services of the Christian company e.g. deposits, loans

  • Explain and promote the products and services of the Christian company, lending/ investments/ finance products

  • Maintenance of records


Marketing / Organisation of seminars and workshops

  • Marketing assistance in the arear of social media, website, brochures, newsletters and templates. This includes communication with printers and designers.

  • Ensuring advertising/marketing material is distributed appropriately

  • To ensure the successful running of the Christian company seminars and workshops for individuals and workshops by:

      1. Arranging bookings with seminar/workshop leaders and attendees

      2. Arranging venues and catering

 

PERSON SPECIFICATION :

Friendly and confident

Helpful, with a warm customer focus

Experience in marketing (not required, but preferable)

Ability to draft newsletters, marketing brochures and PowerPoint presentations (not required, but preferable)

Exceptional verbal and written communication and phone manner

Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

Able to work independently

Passionate and enthusiastic about the Christian company and their products and services

Knowledgeable about the needs and expectations of churches and charities

 

 

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • 3+ years experience in a reception/ customer service / marketing role

  • you will have a solid understanding of financial / lending / banking products

  • meet the above criteria around person specifications
