Description:
Our client, a leader in manufacturing and supplying of high quality plastic food containers, is now looking for a Quality assurance assistant/ technician for a 6 month contract role. You will ideally be a graduate with some exposure to a manufacturing environment. The role will involve quality assurance of plastic food containers, quality checks with measuring equipment, data management and reporting.

The role will involve quality assurance of plastic food containers, quality checks with measuring equipment, data management and reporting.
Your Responsibilities
Quality assurance of packaging materials, compliant and meet agreed specifications prior to being used in production
Checking, assessing and releasing finished goods according to compliance, relevant regulations and release criteria
Ensure data management of results is accurate
Ensure that products are manufactured to consistent quality standards meeting set specifications. Take action to correct any product quality issues.
Ensure compliance with all safety initiatives, policies, strategies and legal requirements.
Other duties as required
What are we looking for?
Quality assurance or related degree
Minimum of 6 months exposure to manufacturing, quality assurance and compliance
Self-starter with a passion and persistence
High levels of energy and commitment
Team orientation
High level of accuracy and sense of urgency
Attention to detail
